Glass Beads

I discovered glass bead making on a trip to buy beads at bead fair back in 2005. Instead of coming home with bags of readymade beads I bought a kit and started on my journey of discovery. Although getting to grips with the  bead making process was slow at the start, once I mastered the basics I found to my delight a whole world of creativity opened up to me.

I continue to enjoy making unique beads for my original jewellery. I have also been exploring ways to combine them with my love of embroidery. Please see ‘Systems’ in my gallery.
